The Banquet Manager is responsible for efficiently managing servers and ensuring exceptional guests services and proper setup and cleanup for all events at the Center. The Banquet Manager is responsible for helping to plan, organize, manage and direct the execution of all assigned food and beverage for events. S/he supports and executes on the service delivery aspects of our sales strategy and approach, and looks to continually improve methods of service delivery and supports development of new standards. S/he must maintain a high standard of customer service with clients and customers while working as a team player.



  1. Manages servers; Ensures proper setup/cleanup service for events and overseeing the food & beverage operations during events; helps support sales and service delivery strategy.
  2. Reviews all Banquet Event Orders and coordinating with other departments to ensure proper implementation of Food & Beverage requests.
  3. Order food and equipment.
  4. Processes Invoices.
  5. Prepare daily task sheets for employees and ensure proper execution.
  6. Complies with all policies and standards/procedures applicable to the position, including attendance, time quality control and othe standards.


  1. Bachelors Degree required
  2. 5 years previous catering, Fine Dining and bnquet experience: One year supervisory experience preferred.
  3. Must have attention to detail and be able to manage multiple events simultaneously. The ability to manage in a diverse environment with focus on client and customer service is essential for success in this position.
  4. Point Of Sale knowledge , Meeting Matrix and Fastbook
  5. This Is A Hospitality Business And A Hospitable Service Atmosphere Must Be Projected At All Times.  Must be willing to work event-based hours including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.

Physical and Other Requirements

  1. Able To Withstand Hot Temperatures For Long Periods Of Time While Operating Standard Cooking Equipment As Designated By The Station. Ability To Move About Facility, Stand For Long Periods Of Time And Able To Bend And Stoop.    

  2. Occasional Lifting Of Heavy (> 20 Lbs) Objects, Bending, Pulling, Collating/Filing, And Occasional Lifting, Carrying, And/Or Moving Boxes, Files, Etc., Some Of Which Could Be Heavy (>20 Lbs) Or Require The Use Of Carts.

  3. Significant Computer Work, Which May Require Repetitive Motion, Prolonged Periods Of Sitting, And Sustained Visual And Mental Applications And Demand.
